Dr. Barbour is a full-time Veterinarian and is also the owner of Crepe Myrtle Animal Hospital. She graduated from NC State's Vet School in 1994 and has been practicing ever since. Her special interests include surgery. When not in the office, Dr. Barbour enjoys going camping, checking out new breweries, and spending time with her 4 Border Collies and family.
Dr. Vieria is the newest addition to our team. She comes to us with over 12 years of experience, graduating from Kansas State University's Veterinary School in 2007. Her special interests include Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Oncology. In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, going to the gym, and spending time with her husband and 4 children.
Gail is one of our longest-employed staff members and is our wonderful office manager. She has been with the practice since 2008. When not working at CMAH, Gail enjoys spending time with her family and working on her craft business.
Mickey is married to Dr. Barbour and is the Practice Manager for Crepe Myrtle. He is responsible for the financial aspect of the hospital and is the go-to handyman!
Candace has been with CMAH since August 2018 and is a part time veterinary assistant. When not working she enjoys spending time with family, friends and any animal she meets.
Caitlen started at CMAH in February 2021. When not working, she enjoys taking care of the animals on her family farm, hunting and fishing.
Christina has been with CMAH since April 2021 and came with 3 years of previous veterinary experience. She is currently attending Penn Foster to earn her Vet Tech Degree. She is passionate about all things animal related, but has a special place for cats. When not at work, she enjoys reading, crocheting and playing video games with her husband.
Heidi has been part of our staff since May 2021. When not working she enjoys riding her horses, running her dog hunting supply business and hanging out with her 3 dogs; Annie, Clyde and Jane.
Heidi also enjoys showing, training and hunting her dogs competitively with UKC.
Christina has been on staff since March 2021 and came with 5 years of veterinary reception experience. When not working, she enjoys exploring breweries with her husband, working on art, and hanging out with her two dogs Yancey and Dixie.
